1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the EBPQI-C Certification Platform at ebpqi.dallaswaldrop.com (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including learners and administrators.

2. Description of Service

The Platform is an online certification program for nursing professionals and healthcare teams focused on Evidence-Based Practice and Quality Improvement, operated by Dr. Julee Briscoe Waldrop, DNP, with curriculum co-developed by Dr. Jayne Jennings Dunlap, DNP, and Dr. Staci S. Reynolds, PhD, RN. The Platform provides:

• Structured learning modules covering EBPQI concepts based on the Mountain Model framework.
• A proctored EBPQI-C certification exam upon completion of required modules and payment of the exam fee.
• A record of exam completion and the EBPQI-C credential for participants who achieve a passing score.
• Continuing education units (CEUs) for eligible participants. Specific CEU accreditation details, including the number of contact hours and approving body, are provided on the Platform and are subject to the current accreditation status of the program.

Completion of this program does not constitute formal nursing licensure or accreditation unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

To access the learning modules and certification exam, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration, including your name, email address, and professional credentials.
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share your account with others.
• Notify the administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• Use the Platform only for its intended educational and certification purposes.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Payment and Refund Policy

Access to the certification exam requires payment of the stated exam fee. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorize the charge to your payment method.

• Exam fees are generally non-refundable once exam access has been granted.
• Refund requests may be considered at the sole discretion of the administrator and should be submitted via the contact information provided on the Platform.
• All prices are displayed in U.S. dollars. The Platform is not responsible for currency conversion fees charged by your payment provider.

5. Exam Conduct

The certification exam must be completed individually and independently. By taking the exam, you agree to the following conduct standards:

• You will not share exam questions, answer choices, or your responses with any other person.
• You will not use unauthorized resources, aids, or assistance during the exam.
• The exam includes a mix of scored questions and unscored pilot questions. Pilot questions are used for psychometric validation and do not affect your exam score. You will not be told which questions are pilot items.
• You understand that your responses — including individual answers and time spent per question, for both scored and pilot items — are recorded and used for psychometric analysis to evaluate and improve the quality of exam questions. This data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
• Violations of exam conduct standards may result in disqualification and forfeiture of any exam fees paid.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including learning module text, images, exam questions, and platform design — is the intellectual property of Dr. Julee Briscoe Waldrop, co-developers, and the EBPQI-C Certification Platform. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without prior written permission. Your personal exam results and account data remain your own.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an “as is” basis as a pilot educational program. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Platform makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any content.
• Completion of the program does not guarantee employment, promotion, licensure, accreditation, or any other professional outcome.
• In no event shall the operator be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• Total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for exam access.

8. Changes to Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
