Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how the EBPQI-C Certification Platform (“Platform,” “we,” or “us”), operated by Dr. Julee Briscoe Waldrop, DNP, with curriculum co-developed by Dr. Jayne Jennings Dunlap, DNP, and Dr. Staci S. Reynolds, PhD, RN, collects, uses, and protects information about users (“you”) of ebpqi.dallaswaldrop.com. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you register for and use the Platform:

• Account information: Your name and email address, provided at registration or via Google sign-in.
• Professional credentials: Nursing licensure or other professional information you provide during registration.
• Exam responses and scores: Your answers to certification exam questions, time spent per question, and your overall exam score. The exam includes unscored pilot questions used for psychometric validation; your responses to these questions are collected in the same manner as scored questions.
• Payment information: Payment transactions are processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers; we retain only a record of payment status and Stripe transaction identifiers.
• Usage data: Learning module completion status and general platform activity.

How We Use Your Information

Information collected is used for the following purposes:

• Administering your enrollment in the certification program, including tracking module progress and exam eligibility.
• Processing payment for exam access via Stripe.
• Generating de-identified, aggregate psychometric analyses of exam questions — including unscored pilot items — to evaluate question quality and improve the certification instrument.
• Sending transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, exam results) via Resend.
• Maintaining certification records as documentation of program completion.

Third-Party Services

The Platform relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe receives your payment card details and processes transactions on our behalf. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Google — Optional OAuth sign-in. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google authenticates your identity. See policies.google.com/privacy.
• Resend — Transactional email delivery. Resend transmits emails on our behalf and may retain message metadata. See resend.com/privacy.

Data Retention

Your account information, exam responses, and certification records are retained for the duration of the pilot program and for a reasonable period thereafter to support certification documentation. Aggregate, de-identified psychometric data derived from exam responses may be retained indefinitely for research and quality improvement purposes.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Individual exam responses may be used in aggregate, de-identified form for academic or quality improvement purposes. We may disclose information if required by law.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting the site administrator (see below). We will respond to requests within a reasonable timeframe. Note that deletion of your account may remove your certification records from the Platform.
